Jeep Wrangler JK-8 Independence: DIY Mopar Kit Allows Owners To Turn Wrangler Into a Pick Up Truck
Some of you may remember the 2005 Jeep Gladiator concept study for a pickup truck version of the Wrangler, which for many reasons, never came to fruition. But if you happened to like the idea of a light-duty hauler based on the Wrangler, then Jeep may have the answer for you with its new JK-8 Independence package. The do-it-yourself Mopar kit allows owners to convert a 4-door Jeep Wrangler

VIDEO: An Insane 900HP Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG
Why would someone want to upgrade a 451HP Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG remains a mystery to us, but the following car is a good example of the level of performance a C63 AMG can reach with the right aftermarket parts and some very deep pockets. Two years ago, owner Keith Brantley got in touch with aftermarket specialist Modern Horsepower (MHP) and ordered a complete transformation of his C63 AMG. Read

VIDEO: How Not to Ride a Motorcycle on the Highway...
We have all seen our fair share of crazy bikers, but we're pretty sure none of you have happened to come across something like this before. Well, maybe with the exception of our readers from Morocco, where the following footage is said to have come from. The man in the video thinks it's okay to ride his bike sitting horizontally on the saddle while doing 140 km/h (87 mph) on the highway.
Hyundai’s Futuristic Viral Ad Campaign for the New Accent [with Video]
In a very interesting melding of the virtual and real world, Hyundai has crafted a new viral ad to showcase its 2012 Accent sub-compact and highlight the brand’s new slogan “New Thinking. New Possibilities.". What makes this futuristic video intriguing is that the viral includes an actual 2012 Hyundai Accent suspended on a wall with a driver walking down the side to get into the car. At the same

Fail: The Dumbest Way to Load a Porsche Carrera GT Onto a Truck
You would think that the owner of an über rare and outrageously expensive supercar like the Porsche Carrera GT would be extra careful when it comes to transporting the exotic model. Well, you may want to reconsider that thought after watching the video after the jump. And yes, they actually used a pair of unchained wooden planks to load the Carrera GT onto the truck’s flatbed with a damaging
VIDEO: Nissan Skylines Drifting with the Ladies on Top
There are two things many adolescent boys and men love: cars and women. So it makes sense, both to us and event organizers, that cars and women together are a winning combination. Don’t believe me? Try Megan Fox in Transformers, Jordana Brewster in Fast & Furious or Angelina Jolie in that famous scene from Wanted. Like peanut butter and jelly or beer with kebabs, women and cars work. Prime Minister Putin gets behind the Wheel of Russia's First Hybrid Car
When he's not driving a Renault Formula 1 car or a locally-made Chrysler Sebring, Russian prime minister Vladimir Putin test drives hybrid cars – or at least that's what he did on April 1 (no, really), when he got behind the wheel of the country’s first hybrid vehicle, the Yo-Mobile. Built by Yo-Auto, a joint-venture between truck maker Yarovit Motors and Onexim Group, the company of Russian
VIDEO: Pontiac GTO Barks up the Wrong Tree at Houston Coffee and Cars Event
You can find one at every car event – you know, the show off type that ends up getting more attention than he bargained for. At the Houston Coffee and Cars event that took place on April 2, that special someone was the owner of a red Pontiac GTO (the Holden Monaro based model). The GTO driver tried to make a cool exit out of the corner but lost control of the Goat hopping over a curb and into a

VIDEO: Driver Smacks Lamborghini Gallardo on Curve, Blames Broken Shoe Heel
A twin-turbocharged Lamborghini Gallardo tuned by Underground Racing received an unwanted...facelift when the driver smashed the Italian supercar on a curve at the Caffeine and Octane event in Georgia this past weekend. A forum member who appears to be a friend of the car’s owner uploaded several photos and a description of the crash over at the Car Lounge. According to the post, the blame is
Video Tour of the Unmade BMW M Cars Including the M3 Tourer and Compact, Ur-Roadster and M5 Cabriolet
It is by far, the most sacred place for a BMW M fan. We’re talking about the BMW M Division’s underground facility where the company stores copies of all the production cars and prototypes it has ever built, including a variety of never before seen in public vehicles. In a surprising but much welcomed move, the German automaker recently opened the doors of the special M garage to the members of

BMW M8: Video Walkaround of the Wildest 8-Series Powered by the Same V12 in the McLaren F1
If there’s one BMW M car that should have been built, that’s without doubt the M8. Instead, the Bavarians gave us the diluted 850CSi that was powered by a modified version of the 850i’s V12 engine with an incre00ased displacement of 5.6-liters pushing out 380-horsepower. Last week, BMW opened up the doors of its special M car garage to the press revealing a variety of unmade prototype models

VIDEO: The Ultimate Taxi Ride in a Rally-Spec Mitsubishi Lancer EVO
In a perfect world for gear-heads, a sweet taxi ride would involve a high performance sports car, preferably a racing model, and a qualified driver. Unfortunately, the WRC-like Mitsubishi Lancer EVO taxi seen in the video after the jump exists only in fantasy, as this clip is a commercial for a new 4G mobile broadband plan from Norwegian cell phone operator Netcom. Click past the jump to watch
VIDEO: Driver Gets the Fright of his Life when Wooden Plank Impales Car’s Windshield
It’s perhaps a driver’s worst nightmare: an object coming out of nowhere when you least expect it and don’t have time to do anything about it. In this truly amazing video, yet at the same time shockingly scary, the object is a wooden plank that flies straight into the car’s windshield just missing the driver. Of course he may just have avoided the plank if he hadn’t been videotaping and driving

2012 BMW M5 Concept: First Photos Out in the Open
In a move that certainly won’t leave BMW officials happy, pictures of the 2012 M5 Concept from a preview event held in Germany prior to the car’s world premiere at the Shanghai Auto Show in China later this month, leaked onto the internet. As with most BMW concepts of the sort, the new M5 study is 99 per cent production ready, so don’t expect to see anything different when the sports saloon make

VIDEOS: New Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Spotted at the Vallelunga Race Track
Yes, it’s another set of videos of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, but we're not complaining. This time, the Raging Bull supercar was caught at the Autodromo Vallelunga Piero Taruffi racing circuit just outside of Rome, Italy. Unfortunately, the three clips are quite short – up to 12 seconds each, but at least we get a taste of the 700-horsepower V12 engine’s sounds. Watch them after the jump.
